STONEWARE WINE COOLER Designed by CARLO MARCHIORI

It takes the form of a brick tower with Venetian Gothic arches and playful Pulcinella figures, a character from the 17th century Commedia dell’Arte. The character engages in aspects of winemaking, from carting to tasting, while a woman in 18th century costume peers longingly from an upper window. The drawing includes delightful architectural details including the Lion of San Marco, ornate balustrades, and Venetian style finials. The cooler keeps an open bottle of wine at a perfect temperature, but this versatile high quality stoneware vessel is a perfect gift item that can also function as an attractive flower vase or kitchen utensil holder.
This limited edition collectible joins a series of popular porcelain plates and other items available at the Ca’Toga Galleria D’Arte in Calistoga, California, as well as other fine retailers.
